Our Christmas in pictures

We had a great time in Houston. It was so nice to get away from the cold weather for a while. It was in the 70's while we were there and I LOVED it! I keep telling Joey we need to move somewhere warmer but he's not going for it.The tree and all of the gifts. The Giant one is Joey's. I wrapped up an empty tv box of my parents and taped a wad of cash to the box. Now he can pick one out on his own. I had him convinced that I didn't get him anything. He was suprised!
Avery got a hammer for Christmas. That's what happens when you're the second child. She needs nothing. She of course enjoyed the paper better than the gift anyways. Molly was excited about everything. She kept wanting to open the gift and play with it. We kept saying - there's more, put that down and open the next one. Next year she's getting less. :-)
We made a birthday cake and sang happy birthday to Jesus. It had candles and everything. Of course we didn't get a good shot of the cake - maybe next year.
" Grampa Hey" had fun with his girls. He got them a scooter (from the neighbors trash). They'll love it in a few years! I think I'm going to quit my job and just dumpster dive in their neighborhood. The girls did pretty well with each other. There were no screaming matches. We're making progress.
They had a blast jumping on Gramma J's giant bed. Even while Betsy tried to sleep :-)
We went to Molly's favorite restaurant - as she would say "chik-a-fla". Avery loved the glass wall.
"Grampa Hey" gave the girls tatoos. They thought that was pretty cool. We picked up our minivan while we were in Houston. I drove it to the grocery store to grab a few things and on my way home got rear ended. Yep... first time to drive it and I got slammed. No one was hurt and I think the damage will be a fairly easy fix (new bumper and new back door). I don't have any pictures but it's a silver honda odyssey. You've all seen one - they're everywhere. I used to say I'd never drive one but here I am admitting that I LOVE IT! It's not cool at all but neither is a long road trip with kids in a car that isn't comfy and practical.

You are hilarious! This is a good idea for relatives who have no idea what's up. Good way to avoid writing millions of letters too I like how Avery got one toy. Madi's birthday was on Saturday and I thought she had way too many toys. She didn't play with half of them. Of course she liked mine. She always plays with her mom's keys, so I got her similar vision that tastes better. I also bought her a sweater dress with leggings and sparkly shoes. It so hard not to buy a l ot for my niece and nephew. I wonder how I will be with my own kids. Looks like you had a fun Christmas! Do your parents live in Houston? I thought they live in Sugarland. I'm going to visit my friend Jay in Houston sometime. That was a very nice house. Molly look so posed and like a little princess. Avery looks like a little cabbage patch doll. I want to pinch her cheeks. I bet she will be the one that looks like you. She already does! By the way, I like your hair short and long. I wish I had your hair. Do you know the sex of the baby yet?

A scooter in the garbage?!! Good grief! I'm going to dumpster dive their neighborhood, too. Love all the pictures on your site.
