A Love Hate kinda thing!

Christmas cards that is. I LOVE LOVE LOVE getting Christmas cards in the mail. They're even better when they've got a picture and then even better with a letter. So, we all know if you want to receive lots of cards you must send lots of cards. I wrote a letter once and that was such a pain in the butt that I gave up. Maybe someday I'll get back into that but for now I'll stick to the simple photo card.
This year we managed to have marathon sickness at our house starting with the weekend after Thanksgiving. Joey drank way too much at the OU/OSU game and was "hung over"that Sunday... so I thought. Come to find out he actually had the stomach bug. I win the award for horrible wife of the year cause I was pretty mean to him for being so "hung over" :-)
Thankfully he doesn't hold grudges cause I was the next to get it. Then Avery got it then I got a cold, then Avery got a cold then I got a fever virus then Avery got something else. UGHH it just went on and on. (kinda like this story)
So... my Christmas picture didn't get done when I wanted it to. Good family pictures are SO hard to get and they just get harder the more kids you have. I like to send a picture of the entire family, but almost gave up and took one of just the girls. That didn't work either. I can get a cute one of them when molly has no pants on and Avery has food in her hair but that's not the look I'm going for :-)

And sometimes it's not Molly or Avery that messes up a picture, but instead the photographer or the camera.

And the winner is.... a picture taken with the timer. Who would have thought that would actually work. Molly loved watching me run over to sweep her up and smile really quick. She thought it was a game and wanted to keep doing it even after getting a good one.
