Santa really is nice :-)

My girls don't think so... Molly talks about Santa a lot and says he's nice. She even says she wants to sit on his lap and tell him what she wants for Christmas but then when we see him she's like a squirrel up a tree, and my body is the tree.
Our first attempt was the mall. Luckily our mall Santa has no line so that wasn't too big of a deal. Avery did sit on his lap with out crying. She even gave a small smirk that the photographer was able to capture.
After that trip Molly kept saying that she was going to be brave next time and sit with Santa so we believed her. Our community center had Breakfast with Santa last Saturday morning. I had to work but Joey aka super dad took the girls. Here's how it went...

Molly got close enough to tell him that she wants a princess ballerina. Whatever that is..?? We're hoping it's a princess Christmas tree ornament from Hallmark that we can pretend is also a ballerina.
Avery must have remembered him from the mall and decided to skip the staring and went straight to the crying. I'm still not sure why, as parents we want our
kids to be happy about sitting on the lap of a strange man who is dressed really weird.
