Daddy Daughter Dance 2011

It's that time of year again!  The big daddy daughter dance.  The girls LIVE for this dance.  They popped out of bed saturday morning saying "TODAY IS THE DADDY DAUGHTER DANCE"!! Even Presley was walking around the house saying "Daddy.... Dance" every so often.
This year we met friends for pizza before.  The dads and girls headed to the dance while the moms went out for drinks.  I'm pretty sure everyone had a great time!  Girls... dads... and moms included :-)

I had to post this picture of Presley cause she makes some really strange faces... plus it shows her socks.  Yes... she wore socks over her tights.  Her shoes were just a tad big and she threw a huge fit when I tried to put on different ones.  I put socks on to seee if they'd make the difference.  I had intentions of putting the socks on under the tights before leaving the house, but never got around to it.  I think she looked pretty cute, even with her socks on :-)
And there she is with her pretty smile and her little scrunched up nose.
Look at these little twins... I mean really, could they look any more alike?  She's such a daddy's girl so I love pictures of the two of them together.

and Avery... she was in one of her moods. She didn't want to wear her bow cause it was going to mess up her curls (not sure why she thought that, but there was no convincing her otherwise). In all the family pictures she was either sticking her tongue out or making a grouchy face. You gotta love that goofy girl!!

and there's superdad with all three.  poor guy had to take three wild girls to the dance.  Most of our friends have 1-2 kids and a lot of the ones that have 2 kids, just took the older of the two.  BUT... Joey's not your average dad.  He is great with all three!    My rule is... if they can walk they can dance and if they can dance they will go :-)
Here's our bunch at the pizza place.  It was a mess trying to get a bunch of girls to cooperate for a picture... this was the best one that I could get.

I'm sure the girls had a blast! I can't wait to send Grace next year to our local one!

I love this Daddy Daughter dance! I emailed my Mom about it and told her that she should bring it up at her next Chamber of Commerce mtg. It's so wonderful!
