Binky Fairy

I decided today that I've had it with binkies! Avery is too old to have one during the day so we tried limiting them to just nap time and bedtime, but that doesn't happen. She cries for it and we just give it to her. Sometimes it's just easier to give her the darn binky than to listen to her cry and whine, especially when you're trying to deal with 2 others! So... today she was extra crabby and kept bugging me for her stupid binky and I told her she couldn't have it. She threw a huge fit and that was when I decided I was done!
The binky fairy visited Molly so it was only fair for us to do the same with Avery. I told her all about it and she agreed to putting them on the front porch. I asked her what she wanted and she said a pink baby doll. I thought about going to the store while she napped (and having my neighbor sit with her, while I was gone), But... she wouldn't nap so joey just picked one up on his way home.
She was excited! Not quite as excited as Molly was about her bike, but Molly was 3 when we ditched hers AND she got a bike... Avery got a $7 baby.
I had to go to work after the binky fairy came. Joey said that Avery fell while running on the driveway. She skinned her knees and started crying. He said he could tell she really wanted to ask for her binky, but instead just said "my baby". YAY! Mission accomplished. I put her to bed and she did just as horrible as she always does. I'm keeping my fingers crossed that she won't wake up in the middle of the night crying for her binky.

In the first video She was telling her Binkies bye bye one last time. In the second she was going out to see what the fairy brought her. She keeps saying "my baby fresswey" (my baby presley).

*that's lipstick all over her face... it's the all day kind so I couldn't get it off. She may as well have wrote on her face with a red sharpy! She defines "into everything"
