Christmas cards are a lot of work!

I love the get mail, so naturally December is my favorite month to check the mail. I get a card or two almost everyday in the month of December and I LOVE it! My theory is, in order to get Christmas cards, one must send Christmas cards. So far I'm 6 for 6 on Christmas cards (since I've been married). My favorite cards are the ones with pictures and letters. I did a letter one year and have yet to do another. Maybe that should be my goal for next year.

This year I was on a mission to get a family photo of all 5 of us to use for my Christmas card. That mission began in October with the help of a professional photographer. My kids were not cooperative on the day of photo's so we came out with some cute individual shots, but none of all 5 together. We ended up using some photo's that my mother in law took while she was visiting.

**Just in case you didn't get one, here it is.

** Molly "helped" with Christmas cards this year. During round one of Christmas Cards she enjoyed putting stamps and return address labels on the envelopes. After gathering some new addresses we started round 2. At that point she was ready to stuff envelopes. She also helped sort cards by putting them in the appropriate piles (ready to mail, needs address etc).
I found out a few days later that some people got envelopes with no cards. Merry Christmas - here's an envelope :-)

That is too funny! I ran out of Christmas cards this year, so many people did not get one!
