I'm so excited for Christmas this year! We have decided to start the tradition of spending Christmas morning at home. I have always planned to do this when we had kids but in years past we have traveled since the girls were small enough that it didn't matter too much where we were. I think it will be so fun for Santa to come down our chimeny, fill stockings hanging from our mantel, and put presents under our tree! YAY!Last year we made a birthday cake for Jesus. Molly asked me if we could do that again this year. I want to make cookies for santa and leave carrots for the reindeer. How fun! We'll get to attend Christmas Eve services at our own church. WooHoo! Can you tell I'm really looking forward to a holiday at home.
I have all of my shopping done (almost). I still need a few stocking stuffers, but other than that I'm DONE! Woohoo!
I got a little nervous yesterday while I was looking online for Molly's vanity. It must be the hot item this year cause they were sold out everywhere. I finally found it on JCPenny.com of all places.
Avery is getting a doll set that has a pack-n-play, stroller, high chair etc. It's really cute and I know she will love it. She's OBSESSED with babies. She's also getting a singing potty chair. I'm hoping she loves the potty chair.
Presley is getting a walker - the type you sit in. I'm actually borrowing it from a friend. shhhh, don't tell Presley that her first Christmas gift was a borrowed walker. :-)

I absolutely love the girls' picture! I think I might "borrow" your idea of making Jesus a birthday cake this year. I think its an awesome idea!
So fun! We LOVE spending Christmas morning at home and I know you guys will too. None of the hussle and bussle of traveling! Have a wondeful Christmas at home and we will see you for New Years!!
ps - I think we are going to the Jesus birthday cake too. I saw at Hobby Lobby they had all sorts of Happy Birthday Jesus stuff - candles, party hats, etc!
Oh, how I LOVE Presley's eyes!
I want a singing potty chair! The girls are adorable!
Ooo...what kind of vanity did you buy at JCP? I've been looking for one and looked on there but the only one I saw for kids was $189.99 and I'm not willing to pay that much for one for my 3 year old.
The pictures are adorable!!!
glad you guys do birthday cake, that is something paul's family has always done- i love it!!
love the pics. hope you guys have a very merry christmas!
Christmas morning at home is awesome. We started doing that when we moved to Algona. Nice background on Presley's photo - your pictures of the girls are always great. Mine are not so much into posing this year.
