Yesterday was our 6th Wedding Anniversary.
Weddings... I have a love hate relationship with them. I love attending them... I hated trying to plan one that would keep everyone happy!
I look back at the photo's and already... in just 6 quick years... think that styles have changed so much! It was a pretty wedding and a very fun reception, but part of me still wishes that we would have just ran off to Vegas to get married. Something about walking down that church aisle in front of all those people, and trying to plan a wedding that would keep everyone happy sounded like the most horrible thing in the world to me. I remember telling Joey, oh come one... it could just be the two of us... we wouldn't have to worry about all those people, but he wouldn't go for it.
So to all of you non-married people out there... Do exactly what YOU want to for your wedding.
VEGAS!!! WooHoo!
I surprised Joey with a trip to vegas for his 30th birthday. It's one of those expensive combo gifts that also counts for my birthday and our anniversary. My mom and dad are coming here to tag team our girls. She broke her arm and had surgery on it last Wednesday. My dad is going to have to be on diaper duty since changing Avery's is what I imagine wrestling with an alligator to be like. I'd really like to install some hidden camera's to see how it all goes down :) Wish them luck!

Wow, 6 years. And one of those little flower girls is now 12 with boobs and makeup and other pre-teen crap. And that flower girl dress has been so thoroughly played with that it is a bit of a mess and both girls have outgrown it. You want it for your girls? It was one of Ava's favorite things to play dress-up.
HAVE FUN IN VEGAS!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I'm so glad you decided to forego your own feelings and have a wedding for everyone else because is was so so so so fun! Happy anniversary, hope you had a fabulous time in Vegas!
