UGH!

I'm sure I've mentioned this before. . . Joey's brother is getting married 2 weeks before my due date and I'm a bridesmaid. I'm thrilled to be a part of the day but I'm not looking forward to carting my big fat butt down the aisle in my size 10 dress! I know, I know - some of you might be thinking what's the big deal. Well, I usually wear a 4 or a 6 in a dress. They don't have to fit your rear and often times not your belly either - which tend to be the larger parts of my body.
So.. basically double digits clothing sizes make me unhappy.
What's even worse than wearing a size 10 for the wedding where I'll be 9 months pregnant is wearing a size 12 for the next wedding I'm in (joey's sisters wedding)... It's in October so Presley will be 4 months old. I could maybe imagine wearing a size 12 three days after giving birth, but 4 months later! WHAT THE ... BEEEEEEEEP!!! I'm calling the dress store tomorrow to change it to a 10. Surely a 10 will fit... and hopefully a 10 will swallow me and I'll have to get it altered. :-)

My sister in law's wedding party is made up of a bunch of skinny, young, kidless hoochies that are all probably size 4 or lower. That means my dress will be 3 times the size of theirs!
NO WAY! It's not happening. I might be a dorky mom that drives a mini-van but I REFUSE to wear a 12!

Yeah, you are not getting any sympathy here. I wear a 10 and haven't been pregnant for 6 years, let alone a 10 when 9 MONTHS pregnant.

I'm quite certain you will NOT be a size 12 for that wedding. Probably an 8 or a 6. You'll be way safe with a 10 and have enough fabric left from alterations to make Presley a dress. :)

I'm on the ground laughing so hard!!

I do totally feel for you though. I'm just not FINALLY down to my 6 (most days at least!) and I wouldn't want anything to do with a 12.

Did you already have to order or something?

No sympathy. Haven't seen 6 in 10 years. Shooting for a 10 and Tucker is 2 months old! YOU ARE PREGNANT!!!! YOU ARE BEAUTIFUL!
