My kidless, husbandless weekend...

Joey's sister Sarah (themcroriefamily.blogspot.com) had her second baby girl in December. She is getting baptised so Joey took the girls the Austin, TX for the weekend. Molly loves to go there cause she has a 2 year old cousin that she LOVES to play with. When Joey said he was going to take Molly I suggested that he take Avery too - cause after all she's free to fly.
Off they went yesterday afternoon. I had everything packed and ready to go. They left around 5 and were scheduled to get to Austin at 8-ish after a short layover in Dallas. Their flight was a little delayed going out of Dallas so they didn't get in until later last night. Joey said that the girls were WIRED on the plane. They had Valentine parties at school that included lots of candy and treats. Oh and on top of being wired Avery had diarrhea (probably from the sugar cookies and junk that she has never had before). As Joey is telling me all about his 5 hour adventure I was sympathizing with him but in my mind I was laughing, thinking... heck... I deal with this stuff EVERYDAY BUDDY! :-)
Anyway - they made it and seem to be having a great time. I'm enjoying myself too. I have been cleaning and organizing like a mad woman! I usually keep a fairly clean house but it's far from organized and it's never all clean at the same time. So... I have it all done! The entire house! It's super clean and every piece of laundry is done. AHHH!
I went to the mall today all alone and decided that I hate the mall on Saturday! I used to think it was because I had a child with me but I have decided it's all of the other people that drive me nuts ! And when did the music get so loud at the mall! So ANNOYING! I was on a mission to find a shirt to wear to a bachelorette/lingerie shower but didn't have much luck. I might go back on Monday when it's not so crowded.
I've been to the mall, my house is clean, - now I don't know what to do with myself. I could clean out the garage but I think I'll save that project for Joey.

HAPPY VALENTINE'S DAY to everyone!

The mall might be busy on Monday, too since it is President's Day weekend!

Enjoy your time alone, and what a good hubby you have!

Enjoy every minute girl. I'm so jealous. Maybe before baby #3 comes we should plan a trip just us two... no kids, no husbands... shoot it could be for one night and that would be nice. Although maybe we should wait till after the baby comes and then at least could enjoy a margarita or two :)

ps... I was totally laughing too about Avery and Molly on the flight. I can only imagine how Adam would be!

you should get a mani/pedi, rent lots of chick flicks, eat cookie dough, and go to the mall one hour before it closes... its never busy then!!

you did ALL the laundry?! I don't think I've ever had ALL of our laundry done. It's pitiful but I've got laundry that I'd rather throw away than wash. Oh I'm so lazy!

I think I'm gonna go through the piles and start trashing it tomorrow.

Mary Catherine had a BLAST with Avery and Molly this weekend. It was a lot of fun having so many little girls around!

Did Joey put their bows on them? No I don't make Maddi's, I wish, I would save a fortune! I wish we lived closer so you could teach me how! They asked Pat if he wanted to transfer to Searcy AR. I googled it and we would be less than an hour from you. I seriously doubt we are going to do it though. He's gone way to much and I would be 5 hours from Mom if I needed help.
