a great weekend!

Unfortunately I didn't take ANY pictures.
We had such a fun weekend. It started with a date night for Joey and I. Our neighbors got us a gift certificate to Bonefish Grill and a night of babysitting. WOOHOO! They asked us last week when we wanted to use it and joked that it was going to expire in June (when the 3rd baby is due). Joey and I enjoyed a nice long kid free dinner and the girls had fun with Miss Beverly. These neighbors really are great. They are about my parents age and have one son who is 28-ish. And even better... they have a pool that they've said we can use anytime.
Saturday I worked half the day and then came home to Joey and the girls. They were having a picnic outside. The weather was so wonderful! Joey is such a great dad - not too many would bother with picnics on their saturday afternoon with a 3 year old and an almost 1 year old.
He and I were able to get some much needed cleaning done on our garage that afternoon.
Sunday we skipped church cause the girlies were still sleeping at 8:30. I guess they had lots of fun with Beverly and were wore out. The weather was awesome again Sunday so Molly and Avery played outside a lot while Joey and I got some more projects done. We went to a super bowl party at a friends house. It was so nice to get out and socialize - something we don't do very often. The people hosting the party have a sweet little 8 month old girl. She was entertained by my 2 active kiddo's.
and... here I am enjoying my Monday off to recover and prepare for the busy week ahead of us. I LOVE having Mondays off. I better go so I can get at least a few things checked off my list!
