I've always thought of lucky people being those who...
win the lottery, have 2 kids - a boy and then a girl, sell their home in 2 days while the market sucks, put their name in a drawing and win. You know... the normal "lucky" things.
Apparently Luck is something totally different. Lately I've heard...
Well - you're lucky no one was hurt and that your kids weren't in the car (re: getting rear ended in my new car).
You're so lucky that the whole water heater didn't bust and keep running... you're entire house could have flooded
You're so lucky to be able to get pregnant so easily - ha :-)
Sometimes I just want to look at people and say... Yes, I know it could be much worse, but this situation still sucks. Just let me be pissed people !
That being said... I am in a much better mood today. I'm sure being pregnant doesn't help situations like this.
Update on the water leak. We have hot water again! Thank God for that. We were all getting a little stinky around here. 2 days of no showering just after a 6 hour road trip from Dallas is never good on the sniffer.
The plumber was here for over 6 hours and the water restoration team was here for several hours as well. The water team pulled off baseboards, crown molding, pulled back carpet and set up sensors to tell how quickly things were drying. They left behind HUGE fans and dehumidifiers that have to stay on for 2-3 days nonstop. It's all very loud and not kid friendly. I'm ready for the 3 days to be OVER!
A salon full of blow dryers and yappy women will sound peaceful to me compared to all of this. :-)

Have a great day and remember God is in control. It is okay to feel pissy!
That sucks! Are the girls scared of the fans?? Hopefully this will get it all dry and you wont have any mold issues! Hope this is your last unlucky thing to happen!
yuck. I won't be positive for you. SUCKS to be you! =) hehe
I LOVE Kerry's Comment!! Exactly the response I was looking for :-)
