Last day of school

We survived another year of school!  I made this candy card for Molly and Emily to give to Mrs. Howell.  She of course loved it.  She's a very affectionate teacher... always giving hugs and praising the kids. 

Molly's Pre-K teacher retired this year.  I was sad cause she was such a great teacher for Molly and I was hopefull that Avery and Presley would get to have her too.  No such luck.  After many years of teaching she decided to retire.  She was one of those teachers who went above and beyond in all that she did (especially for the kids!).  I still have all of Molly's Pre-K art projects hanging in her room.   I wanted to do something special for her so I collected t-shirts.  Her daughter snuck into her home to smuggle some out for me.  I took the shirts and turned them into this quilt.  The pictures don't do it justice.  It turned out so pretty.
