The details... I made "spa girl" cheese dip.
There were stations set up for make-up, nails, hair and tattoos. When they got each thing done they checked their names off the list.
The cake.... I have been googling salon birthday party cakes for weeks hoping something cute would pop up but no luck. I combined the few things that I did find and came up with this cake. I think it turned out pretty awesome. I used a ball cake pan (basically two bowls) for the bottom of the nail polish bottle. For the top I made a sheet cake and cut out circles using a coke can. I stacked 3 layers of small circles to form the lid. To hold it all together I flipped a meat thermometer upside down and placed the peices on it. It was a task getting it from home to the salon but with some help from the MIL we survived. :-). It says "OPI Happy Birthday AVERY Party-on-pink"
The girls all got tiara's after their hair was done.
My friend Trena polished nails.
I did hair... can you tell Ave was a just a tad bit excited about all of this!
Of course she had to love on her baby Cooper!
Presley was just like one of the big girls... She thought it was so fun to get her makeup done!
Katelyn was able to make it to the party!
Here's Miss Pris with all of her friends.
Hailey Nosler and her friend Scout came to do make up. The girls LOVE older girls so they were a huge hit!
They sang karaoke to some of their favorite Kinder Songs.
My co-worker Melody came to do Glitter tattos.
Ave - showing off her fancy nails.
And after a day full of fun...here is the last picture of my 3 year old. Tomorrow she will wake up and be 4. WOW! :-) She's a spunky little thing, but so kind too... When we got home she shared all of her new toys with her sisters. Grandma Judy came to town and took her on a little shopping trip. We thought since it was her birthday it might be fun for them to go pick out a birthday outfit... just the two of them. In the middle of their shopping she stopped and looked at Grandma and said... "this is fun, but it would be more fun if Molly and Presley were here"! I love her sweet heart!Happy 4th birthday Avery Kate!
