I'm not sure what it is about the pumpkin patch but every year we go... we take a bunch of pictures... I upload them and sit back to watch the slideshow of new pictures and think about how lucky I am. 3 healthy girls... an awesome husband... lots of fun... We are so fortunate! Lot's to be thankful for this holiday season.
Kids... they make our world so much fun. They run and play and laugh and get thrilled over things like sidewalk chalk or a piece of candy. They love unconditionally! They say some really silly things. I've always LOVED kids. I babysat kids all the time when I was younger and thought the parents of the kids I babysat for were so cool. I wanted to be just like them! I also remember a mom that had 4 kids who would come into a salon that I worked at... her kids were crazy and her life was just non-stop... When she would leave my co-workers would say " I don't know how she does it" and I would say "I love the chaos and want to be just like her someday!" Now, after having 3 of my own, it just makes me love kids even more. I am so grateful that I only go to work 1.5 days/week. 4 years flies by then they're in school forever! They grow up so fast and I've yet to hear a mom of grown children say "I wish that I would have spent more time at work" or "I wish that I would have put my kids in a longer mothers day out program"... etc. I have my days when I'd love a few hours to get some stuff done solo, but I can honestly say... I love having my kids with me.
Here they are... all goofy with their glasses... and their silly faces!
Molly is my girl of routine... she has taken this exact picture for at least 2 maybe 3 years in a row... this year she ran straight to the pumpkins and said... mommy take my picture. :-)
