Avery has been talking about getting her ears peirced for a while now. I think earings on little girls are super cute so I've been talking it up quite a bit too. I did tell her that it hurts a little... actually I always say "it's just a little pinch" and I even followed that up by pinching her ears. She would say ouch but still wanted them :-)
So... we finally went today. She was SO excited. It was so cute. I was worried that she would back out in the last few seconds but nope... she was a trooper. The girl that worked at Claires was very nice. She told Avery exactly what was going to happen. She even let her hold "claire bear". Claire Bear had her ears pierced too.

Molly was in charge of holding the camera for the video. I wish that she would have kept it on Avery's face right after cause it was so cute. You could tell it stung a big, but she was so tough... her little eyes got a tiny bit red but that was all. Like I said... "it was just a little pinch"
Molly is still out on earings. She wasn't fooled by Avery's tough act. She knows it hurts. :-)
