18 months old!

Presley Rose Lada...

How can it be that she is almost 18 months old! 

I've reached a mile marker myself... I've not been pregnant for over 18 months.  This is a first for me.  Honestly... I'm not really sure how I feel about it.  Molly was 18 months old when I got pregnant with Avery and Avery was 6 months old when I got pregnant with Presley.  Sheeezoooie  :-)

I have noticed that I look at newborn babies in carriers and miss that.  OH NO!  I didn't think I'd feel this way.  Don't get too worried... I think 3 is it for us.  If a money tree magically starts growing in the backyard then I'd have another for sure, but I don't see that happening so we'll be happy with 3. 

So back to Presley.  What can I say... she's the cutest 18 month old girl I know!  She's developing a really awesome ability to destroy a room in no time.  She's learned to fight for what she wants.  She isn't too fond of her new school. (I recently switched the girls from our church's mother's day out, back to Cedar heights Daycare).  She can say a whole lot of words and is getting good at attempting to repeat back whatever words you ask her to say.  One word she can't say  though... DADDY?  No Dadda, Dad, Daddy.  None of it!  She looks at Joey and says "mama".  I think it's kinda funny.  Not sure Joey feels the same.  Her favorite thing in the world is Birthday Cake.  She's obviously a 3rd child.  Molly and Avery only had birthday cake a few times by Presley's age.  Presley gets it weekly cause we are always at birthday parties!   If she sees anything with frosting she starts flipping out and yelling "happy to you" until you give it to her.  She sings "happy to you" all the time too.  It's so cute!  We found her the cutest play birthday cake for christmas.  It sings, counts and has candles that light up.  At the end of the song it tells you to blow out the candles.  When you blow them, they go out!  I hope she gets half as excited over it as joey and I did when we found it.
