Sea World

We were supposed to go to Destin, Florida for our summer vacation this year, but because of the massive oil spill we decided to cancel.  At the last minute we decided to take a quick trip to Sea World in San Antonio.  We stopped to visit our friends Mike and Maggie Farmer.  We enjoyed swimming in their pool and watching Monsters vs. Aliens in their movie room.  After a quick stay there, we headed to Austin to stay with Sarah and Andy.  The girls had fun playing with their cousins.  They were able to join us at Sea World.  Everyone had a great time.  On our way home we stopped in Dallas for a night at Uncle Kane and Mary's.  We got to see their pretty new house.  It's right around the corner form the Park and they have an awesome back yard complete with a slip-n-slide.

 The girls begged to go into the splash zone and it was so hot that I thought, what the heck.  We went down pretty close to the front and got DRENCHED!  I didn't think about the fact that the water would be freezing cold and salty.  Now when we go to the zoo Avery asks if we're going to see Shamu.  :-)
