School is cool!

*Molly attends Mother's Day Out one day a week at a church.*

We were driving around and saw some Easter decorations. I asked Molly if she knew what happened on Easter. I told her that Jesus died on the cross for us but left it at that. I went on to tell her that the bunny would come and hide eggs and fill her basket with goodies.... but she interupted me.
She told me "Mommy, I know what easter is. Jesus was alive and then those people hung him on the cross, and he died and they put him in that dark thing, kinda like a cave and they put big rocks on him and 2 soldiers stood there and watched him all night, and then you know what... they opened it up and and he was gone cause the angels came to take him to heaven."

My jaw dropped! I couldn't believe that she knew all of that, or that she would remember it all or understand it all but I can assure you... she knew exactly what she was talking about and when I asked her to tell Daddy she told him the same exact story.

I love that my little 4 year old has such a strong faith and interest in God.
