SNOW

So, most of you know that I really don't like cold weather. It's fair to say my kids don't either!!
Our first "snow day" was more sleet than snow. It looked like snow, but it was really just little tiny ice balls. Avery enjoyed eating it.
Yesterday we woke up to a few inches of real snow. They were both very excited to see it from the window. We spent a good 30 minutes to an hour getting layers of clothes on before venturing out. They lasted a whole 10 minutes! Molly did go for a few runs on the sled. Avery did one and cried the whole time.
I made a snowman and then forced them to take a picture with it :-)
This picture just makes me laugh. This is Arkansas snow shoveling at it's finest.
Fashionable rubber boots, and a garden shovel. That might be why the girls were so miserable... rubber boots keep your feet dry, but that's about it!
