Weekend in Dallas

Last weekend I loaded up all 3 girls and headed to Dallas. (Yes, I am a little insane for taking them all on a 5+ hour drive alone, but we survived).
We are taking up our nasty 10 year old carpet and tile and are putting down wood floors. All that mess and kids just doesn't mix well, so I thought it would be a good time to visit some friends.
We had a great time with the Dugans, the Farmer's and Kane and Mary. Kane and Mary announced that they're pregnant! WOOO HOOO! I am so excited. I'm keeping my fingers crossed for a boy.

Have I mentioned before that I love Dallas and am super jealous of any family that lives there! It's such a great place for families! They have everything! For starters... Their Santa's are awesome. No fake beards or weird stuffed costumes. These guys are the real deal! My kids LOVED him... from a distance.
Emma, Avery, Grace and Molly
Maggie took us to a tree lighting ceremony. It was great for kids. There were arts and crafts tables, free give aways, frosty and rudolph were there... and of course Santa. Molly wrote a letter to Santa, telling him that she wants make-up for Christmas. She put it in that Giant mailbox and we're waiting for a reply. She checks the mail daily!
I had to include this picture cause it pretty much sums up Molly's attitude for that whole night. You would think that she'd be a little happier since we were at kid fest, but no... She was GROUCHY!
And... here's sweet little Presley sucking on her middle fingers just like I did when I was a baby. (and a toddler and young child.) The Binky Fairy worked great for breaking Molly of her Binky but somehow I don't think we'll be able to get rid of the fingers quite as easily.

Ahh! I hadn't seen the picture of Presley sucking her fingers! So cute, and I know my mother has a photo of you in exactly that same pose. That image of you came flashing straight into my head the moment I saw Presley, too funny.
