We leave tomorrow for OK for Joey's brother's wedding. It's a 5 1/2 hour drive. I'm due on the 25th and I'm dilated to 2 cm. I haven't started thinning. My doctor said she doesn't recommend that I go, but isn't going to tell me no. She printed my medical records and wished me luck :-)
I don't want to have this baby in OK and really really don't want to have her between AR and OK. I was born in the car and my mom doesn't recommend it :-)
I could stay home but Joey would have to leave cause he's the best man in the wedding and Molly is a flower girl. I'm a bridesmaid but they could do with out me if they had to.
If he leaves and I go into labor while he's gone there is a good chance he wouldn't make it back. I would rather deliver in OK with my husband there, than deliver in AR with out my husband.
The big risk is that I could deliver between here and there and that's a really bad option. Joey would pass out - molly and avery would be screaming... and I'm sure me too !
What to do???
answer: Go to Oklahoma and pray that Presley waits until anytime after we get home on Sunday to make her arrival.

You win the "most dedicated bridesmaid of the year award"! Good luck, i'll say a prayer for you!
Oof. Good luck with that, and maybe start mapping all of the towns with hospitals who deliver babies on your route just in case.
I didn't have good luck in your scenario. I had Madeline on my friend Micki's wedding day - three weeks before my due date! We have great photos of me looking all shell-shocked with Micki in her gorgeous dress (she came to the hospital and brought my bouquet and a piece of wedding cake).
I think you will be fine.
To be honest, I bet you have to be induced again. I hope that doesn't happen and Miss Presley decides to come oh Monday! :)
But you better call me if anything does happen!!
Good luck, maybe investing a Garmin GPS? They have nearest hospital button!
