garage sale success

We had a garage sale last weekend. I've been throwing things out in the garage for the last 6 months with intentions of having the sale a long time ago. Something about 2 kids, 1 pregnancy and 2 full time jobs has taken over our "free" time so we just got around to having it this weekend. Joey and I looked at it all before we opened the garage and told each other we would be lucky if we made $100 cause we didnt' have anything good to sell. Boy were we wrong... The weather was awesome and the garage sale was PACKED. People bought up every last bit of our junk and we made $375!! I only had to take a few trash bags full to Goodwill (which I did immediately after the sale).
That afternoon was spent cleaning and organizing the garage. It looks SO good.
Sunday we cleaned out our barn. We hadn't done anything with it since we moved in and the people that lived here before us left a lot of crap in there. Anything from lumber, to plant food, to random shelves. It was a huge mess. Now... It's so nice and clean - well, as clean as a barn can be.
The tempature got up to 82 that day so Molly convinced us to let her put on her swim suit and run through the sprinkler. Avery wasn't so sure about it but had fun watching her sister.
With warm weather and playing outside comes Popsicle's. I don't remember when Molly had her first popsicle but I'm sure it was much older than 1. Avery got to enjoy her first this past weekend. She really didn't like it but couldn't quit eating it. It was pretty funny. I guess she didn't like the cold.
