YOU'RE KIDDING RIGHT??

That was what Joey said when I sent him a text message Monday....
For those of you who don't know, my husband is a sucker. It's part of the reason I married him :-) Basically if you have anything to sell, just knock on our door and he'll buy 10.
Here's a little history to my story...
About 6 months ago someone came by selling a security system and he signed up. I was at work so I couldn't stop it before it happened. I came home to a bunch of thug looking punks in my house "securing" us. While they were here one of the punks (who had quarter sized holes in his ears) tripped while he was in our attic. He fell through the ceiling in the laundry room. Big mess! And... I was pissed. The whole situation was just bad. The next day they were back to un-install the system.
After that I told Joey he was banned from buying or signing up for anything that was sold door to door!
So... knock knock... It's the AT&T Uverse guys. They want to see if we're interested in their new services. I was home this time and told Joey we wanted it . It's cheaper and better than what we currently have so the "no door to door sales rule" went out the window).
We signed up and they came Monday to install. The guy was young and very polite. The installation takes a LONG time! He came back into the bedroom where I was playing with the girls and told me he'd only be about 30 more minutes. 5 minutes later he returned and said... "ma'am, you're going to hate me" I figured he'd say he was going to have to come back again cause there were problems but instead he said "I just stepped through your ceiling" :-)
He was so embarrassed and felt really bad. I told him - oh don't worry about it, it's happened before. I wanted to go on and say.. and two weeks ago we had a water leak and a week before that I got rear ended and then I got a speeding ticket, then my husband got one. AHHHH!
Anyway - After all that crap the hole in the ceiling really didn't bother me at all. It's currently duck taped back together so that we don't lose too much heat before it's fixed.
