So owning a minivan isn't the only thing that makes my motherhood official
Reason #
10. I can't sleep past 7:30 am
9. I haven't been to a movie in over a year
8. I have a blog
7. My house is a total mess
6. I know where all of the elevators are in the mall (stroller access)
5. I take at least 50 pictures a month and more often than not... none of them are of me
4. I have a 3 car garage and can only fit 1 car in it... but we do have 5 strollers, 3 bikes, a scooter 4 sets of bubbles, 10 balls, a bucket of sidewalk chalk... the list could go on.
3. I like jeans that are only a few inches below my belly button instead of 10
2. I have a necklace with my kids names on it and I love it almost as much as my wedding ring
and reason # 1. I own a minivan
WOOHOO!! It's official! I am a mom!
I was looking through photos and came across these. I realised I never posted them at Halloween. We all wore wigs at work on Halloween, but Avery got sick at daycare so I had to go pick her up. I decided to try some wigs on her as well. . . :-)

Although with 3 you will really need a minivan. If they only made suv's with sliding doors!
Love the wigs... the green one is a good look for Avery.
Oh and what about the name Lily? My neighbor is naming her baby that. Ends in a Y. Not sure I love it though. I still like Sydney.

Ok, the minivan I can understand because of practicality. But if you EVER start wearing the mom jeans this friendship is O-V-E-R!!!

it's funny that you posted this b/c we were at a one year old birthday party the other day---
it was like the 7th one year old birthday party we've been to this MONTh thanks to birth class friends...anyway,
and there were all of these trays of finger foods...
including 'teddy grahams'
ha
and in my head, i was thinking, yeah, you know it's pretty official when you are at a party with peers and there are teddy grahams:)
being a mom is the best...huh!

Welcome to the club of van owners. You can thank your mother's family genetics for that damn practical streak that makes it hard to resist buying a minivan. So not cool, but so dang useful. Sigh.
