A busy weekend

I wish that the person we asked to take this picture would have gotten my shoes in the pic cause they were the best part of the outfit... DARN!

Joey and I went out on a date to celebrate our 5th wedding anniversary. Kane and Mary got us a gift certificate for dinner and a night stay at a hotel in downtown little rock for christmas. We were waiting for the next holiday to roll around to get the gift certificate for the babysitting... but since the certificate was about to expire and the chances were slim that he'd offer babysitting we took the opportunity while my mom was here :-) The hotel was really nice and located in walking distance to some fun piano bars. Oh and I almost forgot... the hotel is famous for their ducks that swim in the hotel fountain. Everyday at 11:00 and 5:00 they walk the red carpet up into the elevator (or as molly would say an "alligator"). It's been a tradition since the 1930's when the hotel manager came back from a hunting trip drunk. Back then they used live ducks as their decoys. They thought it would be funny to put the ducks in the fountain. It's been a hit ever since. Here they are doing their march.

Saturday we took my mom to the airport and then we headed to Hot Springs, AR. We stayed the night there and met up with some friends from Dallas. This is our second trip to Hot Springs. Last time we spent most of our trip on the lake and this time we did the touristy stuff. In this photo we're at the Alligator farm and petting zoo. They have a 2 year old and a 6 month old as well. I'd like to say that it was fun to have all 4 girls together to play but my 2 year old sucks at playing with other kids so it was more like a nightmare. I think I'm going to have to check out some Super Nanny books from the library tomorrow! Or if anyone has any other suggested reads I'm in the market. Avery enjoying trying to attack and eat Emma. It was pretty funny.
Avery is 6 months and Molly is almost 3 so I think it's time for a professional picture. I found cute matching dresses today and did a dress rehearsal. Avery's dress looks a little big in some of the pictures so I'm going to alter it before the real deal. I might monogram an "A" and an "M" on them as well. The one with Joey in it shows how hard it is to get a picture of Molly! UGH!! SMILE, KEEP YOUR KNEES TOGETHER and QUIT TAKING YOUR BOW OUT!! (and I like how it shows off the Poofy-ness of the dresses. They have a big bow on the back that's brown with pink polka-dots... SO CUTE)

Did I mention that she wants to be just like daddy... Yet another picture of the two of them.

Okay so I hate the picture of you and I... I look fat. Oh well... anyway, where did you get the girls dresses?? I LOVE THEM!!

It was great to see you guys. And Molly wasn't like you said... she's just being 2. So she might not like to share... at least she knows what she wants :)

Thanks again for dying my hair and cutting Grace's!
