Bootcamp is over and I am happy with the results. I was a little ticked there for a while cause I hadn't lost much but I guess my grouchy post helped cause ever since then I started to lose more weight.
I had a total weight loss of 7 pounds in 6 weeks. It's not much but I am hoping that I gained some muscle through the process. At the end of boot camp we had to do a re-test that we did on the first day. It included running a mile, doing push-ups for a minute and sit ups for a minute. I don't know for sure what my stats were at the beginning but I know that I improved. (Our bootcamp teacher was going to bring our stats by the salon but I was out of town). I ran my mile in 7 minutes and 20 seconds!! I was super pumped cause my goal was 8 minutes. I came in second place. WOO WOO! So now I'm on a mission to get down to 7 minutes.
I have been thinking about joining boot camp again it's just so expensive and time consuming. I'm even trying to talk Joey into doing it. I really think he'd like and I know he would see major results.
The timing of boot camp worked out perfectly because I had a bachelorette party to go to last weekend. I had a great time visiting old friends but when the night was over I was glad that I'm not in the "club scene" anymore. Way too much smoke, heat and creepy guys, and not near enough sleep :-) I know... I'm old!
