To boot camp or not to boot camp

These super buff guys came into my work promoting their "Boot Camp." They meet 4 days per week for 6 weeks for an hour each sesson. I would love to do it... okay I take that back... I would love to lose my gut and realize that the only way to do that is to work out. I went on a diet last week and it lasted one day. It wasn't even a real diet... Instead of fast food and candy all day I had eggs for breakfast a south beach diet meal for lunch, a subway sandwich for dinner and a small bag of peanuts for my bedtime snack :-) You'd think that I'd be fine doing that but I woke up the next morning with a major headache, shaking and having hot flashes so that was the end of my diet.
So... the boot camp is expensive but I'm hoping that if I pay the money that I'll actually go and if I go 4 days a week for 6 weeks surely I'll get into shape. The big issue is that it's at 5 am. They offer other times but the 5 am time is the only one that would work with my family's schedule.
You have to pay for all of the sessions up front and you can't get your money back if you decide that you'd rather be fat than wake up at 4:45 in the morningt :-)
This week I am doing a test run... my alarm is set for 4:45. The plan is to get up and go running every morning this week and see how much it sucks.
I'll let you know how it goes :-)

I've been thinking about this since we talked. I think you should go for it... if this week waking up early works for you. Just think its only 6 weeks of being tired. You will just have to catch up on your sleep on the weekends... and Mondays.

Maybe I should look into doing something like this??
