Onto a new project

So as if having a 2 year old with the flu and a 3 week old isn't enough I've decided that my armoir (that I've had for over 4 years) needs to be painted. AND for those of you who don't know me very well... when I decide something needs to be painted... I have to do it NOW!!

I bought black paint and practiced on a smaller end table. It turned out good so I figured what the heck and started to paint the armoir last night. The doors are done and a large part of the main peice is done. I can't paint the inside because the TV is in there and unfortunatly it's not one of the new super cool flat screens that weighs nothing. This is one of those that weighs 500 pounds. If there was a way for me to get it out of there on my own I would have done it but I can't. So here I sit on my blog trying to kill time before Joey gets home so I can finish. So far it looks pretty darn good. I'll post pictures as soon as I get it all done (which will hopefully be tomorrow) :-)

Now my next project is to paint the living room. It's currently a super light grey and I can't stand it. We have lots of wall space and not a lot of big stuff to put on the walls so I think paint will really make a big difference, or at least I'm hoping so cause paint is a whole lot cheaper than all new stuff.

Of course I'll have pictures of that project for you all to view, but until then I'll post a non-related one of Little Miss Avery. She is getting bigger and cuter by the minute. I got on the scale with her this morning and she weighed over 8 pounds. I was shocked!!
