We travelled to Edmond, Ok for Christmas at the Lada's. This year was to be the first Christmas at Joe and Judy Lada's home with everyone there. Usually they all travel to Ohio, a tradition that Joey and I quit participating in when Molly was born because it's just too expensive and hard to travel at Christmas with children. So... like I said... It was to be the first Christmas at Joey's parents with all of the kids and grandkids in attendence. Unfortunatly they got a phone call that Joey's grandpa was dying so Joe and Judy headed for Ohio.
We would have loved to have them there with us, but it was still a great holiday. We did the normal Christmas Eve dinner and church thing. We actually decided to open gifts christmas eve too, since the parents weren't there to tell us we had to wait :-) Plus, that meant that we could get an early start back to Arkansas on Christmas day.
Joey's grandpa passed a couple of days ago and the funeral will be on Wednesday the 2nd. Joey flew out this evening and will come home early Thursday. Please keep the Lada/Lozinski family in your prayers.
